Yes, Albania is very safe for a solo female traveler. There is nothing to be afraid of. I was traveling Albania as a solo female for 2 weeks and always felt safe. My 14-day adventure in Albania enabled me to see everything from the north down to the south. Albania is the most difficult country in the Balkans to travel, due to the odd transportation system and strong language barrier, and I don't recommend it for first-time solo female travelers.
